In the heart of the Lower Po Valley, Casalmaggiore Cremona, on the main street called “Asolana”, Maria Molossi Street, 14, it stands Luna Residence Hotel, in a strategic position to reach Parma Fair in 22 Km, Cremona in 39 Km, Mantova Centre in 38 Km, Garda Lake in 54 Km, Casalmaggiore stands on the left riverside of Po and enjoy the great “Golena” Park, ideal place to go walking or cycling, Golena Po Park is one of significant places to know and appreciate the fluvial environment Padano, articulated along 61 Km beetween Casalmaggiore and Cremona, ideal for athletes and mountain bike lovers.
It is a receptive structure alternative to classi hotel reception, however without renouncing to services and amenties of a high quality hotel, we offer to our guests open-space, one or two bedroom apartments, furnished with care of details and with care of ecological aspect, thanks to this we obtained in 2010 the recognition of “Green Structure”.
PROJECT, SERVICES AND STRUCTURE
For years we have been working to offer you the best experience during your stay. When we started, we could not imagine anything of what an incredible transformation this has been. What you see of the current Luna Residence comes from the restoration of a former Evangelic Church, made in 2006; the Gospel-depicting frescos can still be seen. Furthermore, in 2015 we inaugurated the new area dedicated to the Hotel with a new Hall, a SPA with a big hot tub, and six bedrooms carefully designed for romantic vacations or business trips.
We created the entry Hall in a part of the original building were frescos were still visible, together with a magnificent vaulted ceiling with natural stone walls. In the indoor courtyard, you will be able to appreciate the quiet environment, enjoying a moment of relaxation with a tasty aperitif. Breakfast is served in the cozy room called “La Bassa”, a vivacious and welcoming room in which you will find also books about our beloved land.

We are in Casalmaggiore, among and in the center of three municipalities: Cremona, Mantua and Parma, only 54 km far from Garda Lake, in Oglio Po land which is a plain between two rivers.
The plain belonging to Cremona’s municipality and the one belonging to Mantua’s, between Oglio river and Po river, have the characteristics of a specific regional area that, transcending the municipalities’ borders, creates a high-value natural landscape and a cultural place, marked with the brand OP.

We are in a land blessed by the sun, in the center of three municipalities, two regions and two UNESCO site such as Mantua and Sabbioneta, which represent the two main city planning styles during the Renaissance.
We are close to the astonishing Parma and the Terre Verdiane (Verdi’s native land), but also close to the well-known Cremona, uncontested homeland of the worldwide lutherie.
The great Po river is our constant companion, with its floodplain and the colors of its landscapes that varies during the natural course of the seasons.
No farther than 500 meters from us there is the bike track called Ven-To, a track suitable for cycling dedicated to tourists that connects Turin with Venice and which is the EuroVelo 8 Italian leg.
Luna Residence HOTEL*** Project

The “Luna Residence Hotel*** Project” involves the renovation and improvement of a large area on the ground floor – until now used as a warehouse and poorly valued – in order to make it accessible and usable by customers: the intention is to obtain new superior rooms with bathroom, a back-bar for the preparation of breakfasts, branches and aperitifs, a porch/veranda overlooking the relaxation area.
The project will increase the capacity of the Luna Residence Hotel, which will be able to accommodate a larger number of people; it will also allow you to improve and expand the services offered, introducing the possibility of stopping at the structure to enjoy breakfasts, brenches and aperitifs; Finally, the presence of the porch/veranda, in addition to ensuring pleasant relaxation outside, will also allow for a larger space to serve customers. In general, therefore, this project will lead to an increase in the attractiveness and competitiveness of the Luna Residence Hotel.
